FASHION WEEK in the Dominican Republic has become THE place to encounter the hottest new trends and sexiest resort fashions and this year it’s taking place from the 31st of May to the 4th of June! That’s right fashionistas, it’s time to get ready! (Articulo debajo en Español!)About “Caribbean Fashion Week-RD 2011”For the Caribbean Fashion Week–RD organizers: Tita Hasbun, Omar Hasbun and Billy Hasbun the event is all about highlighting the best the Dominican Republic has to offer, with their most important goal being “that our designers present their collections in a privileged space and have the opportunity of being in other notable circuits of fashion around America, a novelty which has caused a grand impression amongst our professional and regional colleagues, such as Puerto Rico, Argentina, the USA, and Colombia, amongst others ”, expressed Tita Hasbún.During the 5 days of fashion week, there will be 45 runway shows, including the Dominican established designers: Sissy Bermudez, Arcadio Diaz, Giannina Azar, Esteban Martinez, Damaris Rubio, Modesta Castillo, Diany Mota, Maurizio Alberino, Martin Polanco. Emergentes: Carlos Frank Then, Miguel Genao, Alex Gutiérrez, Luisina Victoria, Rafael Rivero, design schools and novelles.
